And God said, “Let there be light!”
(Holy Scripture. Old Testament. Genesis 1:3)
We glorify our One God — the Creator of all that exists!
In this square-shaped artwork, at its very center, there is a single white square measuring two by two cells. It is known that white light, as a result of dispersion, splits into a spectrum of seven colors. In the artwork, this spectrum radiates from the center of the square and reminds us of the “Big Bang” as the beginning of God’s creation of the World. The seven colors of the spectrum remind us of the Path to God, which passes through the seven heavens (see the book “The Science of All Sciences”). The seven-colored spectrum also reminds us of the covenant between God and mankind on Earth:
Holy Scripture. Old Testament. Genesis 9:12–13:
“…This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you… I set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.”
Against the background of the spectrum, three letters are depicted: “I”, “A”, “M”, which remind us of the Law of life for man on Earth, given to us through Moses:
Holy Scripture. Old Testament. Exodus 3:14:
And God said to Moses, “I AM THAT I AM.” And He said, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, ‘I AM hath sent me unto you.’”
The canvas of the picture is a 64th-order numerical square, the cells of which are filled with the natural numbers 1, 2, 3, …, 4096 = 64^2, in such a way that the sum of the numbers in each row and each column equals 131104. Moreover, the sum of the numbers in each 2 x 2 window, except for the central white window, equals 8194. Only the sum of the unique central window exceeds the sums of all other such windows by exactly 64. This fact emphasizes the oneness of God. This square, by its very nature, is unique of its kind, and it seems that it exists precisely to affirm the existence and oneness of God. Furthermore, the sums of all the cell numbers forming each of the letters depicted on this square are the same, each equal to 303178.
